Alpha is a course for people wanting to understand Christianity. Nicky Gumbel is a British lawyer and the Alpha course presenter. Nicky takes viewers through a fascinating historical Bible journey, and we follow up with group discussion afterward. Alpha deals with such questions as: Is Christianity boring, untrue and irrelevant? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? What's the Bible about? How does prayer work? What does God do for us today? You can also bring your own questions - bring your most difficult questions! Alpha courses are usually 8 weeks, one evening per week, from 7:15pm. We also offer Nicky's "A Life Worth Living" course (9 weeks) in alternate sessions. Course dates and changes are listed on the church calendar page (see the page menu on the left side of this screen)
